I have created an awareness campaign for women’s heart disease with the goals of informing, educating, and supporting women everywhere. Through my campaign I have designed a logo and brand system with materials consisting of 2 posters, a booklet, stickers, buttons, and a social media campaign. These tools allow women to learn more about the facts relating to women’s heart disease and how to best prevent it.
Logo and Brand
The energetic lioness is composed of connecting triangles. The image is a symbol of unity and represents the unbreakable connections within this community. An Individual can wear the lioness to honor survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and to support the progress we are making together to defeat heart disease. This logo along with the lettered typeface for the ‘Heart of A Lion’ presents a strong graphic that encompasses our values. The name of the organization speaking on the strength and courage of the women we support.
A little information on learning how to prevent heart disease and a way to act on it could save your life or the life of someone around you. Facing this issue is not easy but together there is nothing we can’t do when we have the Heart Of A Lion.

on information related to the interviews and research I completed while working
on this campaign.
Booklet
An informative booklet allows the viewer to discover the myths and truths related to women’s heart disease. Along with a multitude of facts and information related to the disease and how you can help prevent it today.
Social media campaign
I have created a social media campaign, ‘heart_of_a_lion_awareness’ and hashtag so that others may learn about the information presented in my awareness campaign and during my talk at UNCC without having to have been there,
